The Nikon Coolpix P4 is one of the nicest 8 Megapixel cameras there is! I've had mine for about 3 months. It takes good, natural pictures. I photographed people without a tripod from 100 meters distance, at maximum zoom. It has a good help menu, however you can not manually change the modes and it is not a good camera for night photography. It is a fine camera for beginners; and I think it is a good choice for everyone.
