I own the Coolpix 8800 digital camera and like it very much overall. The downside as I see it is - manual focus not real sharp and max. ISO is 400 - not great for indoor sports pics that require fast shutter speed & the lens is also a problem - somewhat slow. For most other applications it is a great camera!

I have had the Nikon Coolpix 8800 now for about 7 months! Strengths are color quality, video, zoom and quality of pictures for reprint. Downside is the speed of recovery for next picture after taking a picture! I have a 1.0 gig compact flash.
