Save your money and buy a Canon. As I write this I am awaiting the 4th camera replaced under warranty by HP. The Photosmart M23 camera just doesn't work... period. I've had problems with ghosting, audio, focus, batteries showing discharged when new. Never an HP digital camera again!

I just got the HP Photosmart M23 digital camera for Christmas and it seems to do alright. Sometimes the auto-focus goes out of wack and the lens cover slides open if in your pocket, draining your battery in all it's a pretty easy to use decent camera. I found the cameras red-eye removal editing on the camera easy to use. Deleting photos is very easy and quick. The camera is very rough and comes with rechargeable batteries. The only thing this camera is really lacking is its optical zoom. It a great little camera for beginners and its help section is surprisingly extensive and useful.
