The FinePix S9600 is an excellent, relatively low-cost, digital SLR camera. Fujifilm S9600 has no image stabilization and the night shots are not optimal, that are the only weaknesses. Although, the AA batteries and the manual focus are excellent, just like the 10.7X optical zoom. I think this is one of the best cameras you can buy for this price.

The Fujifilm S9600 is not very good for action photography, due to its slow storing of RAW photos. The menu is very easy to use. The Finepix S9600 uses AA batteries, which are great, with a long battery life. With all the features, for this price, I recommend this camera for amateur photographers, but not for action photographers.

The Fujifilm FinePix S9600 is a great lightweight dSLR camera for most general photography applications. The functions are very easy to use. Saving the picture on the memory card after shooting takes a little long time.
