The Fuji FinePix S5500 Zoom is a great camera. I bought mine 2 months ago and I really enjoy using it. Has a great zoom range, great grip and takes great photos (if you know how to use it). I wouldn't recommend it for total amateurs. Auto function is OK, but not great. You get the real benefits out of this camera when you are using one of the semi-manual modes. The thing I don't like is that the jpg compression ration is a bit high, and the pictures are noisy at ISO 200 and 400. But beside that, I love it. For the money it's a great Fujifilm digital camera.
