A very excellent easy-to-use all around camera! Excellent manual & program features. Does well in low light, is fast recording and has my favorite feature: the 1.8" vari-angle screen. Compose shots over crowds, at ground level, etc. and view comfortably; get parallel to subjects easily. The screen is also protected from scratches as it swivels to face the camera back when put away. 5mp, records video with sound, does great in low light (use your tripod folks!), feels good in hand though a bit on the heavy side (due to easy to find and replace alkaline AA batteries). I suggest getting 8 rechargeable Lithium AAs and a battery charger as video & flash can drain alkaline AAs quickly. Caveats: wish this camera was RAW compatible. Photoshop Freak.
