Nice pocket size camera at an affordable price, with excellent battery life. The results are reasonable to good on wide angle and up to 3x zoom, however if you go all the way to 4x the results are truly appalling, very fuzzy and pixely. Don't even try the digital zoom because the results are a joke. Had I tried this camera before buying I would have saved money and bought a good 3x zoom digital camera.

I just bough this camera (2 days ago), and for this period what can I see is that its great digital camera ... easy to use (auto) ... and manual when you want to experiment.

Given as a present by leaving with 19 years service at Jan,10 2006 the Canon PowerShot A520 has given me the chance to make digital pictures with immediate result. This camera enables you to make easy photo shots and is also a device with more possibilities. All is afforded for a real good price paid for the quality given. A 1GB SD card and a 2500mAh battery set completes the camera (108 pictures and 20 flashed without recharge !) and makes it well functioning. Former I made my 6x6 cm pictures with the Hasselblad 500CM, Heavy stuff and waiting for results…
