Casio EXILIM EX-FH20 | Digital Camera Review | Storage and Energy
Standard included with the Casio EXILIM FH20 is approximately 30MB of memory. If you set the camera to RAW+JPEG format, you will generate a file size of approximately 19MB. Naturally you have to purchase a memory card for this camera and since it supports the SDHC format, storage capacity (currently 32GB) should not be a problem. Considering the enhanced capture possibilities of the Casio FH20, the most logical choice is SDHC.

SanDisk Extreme III SDHC 30MB/sec
The highest quality standard JPEG pictures are still 6MB in size. We tested the camera with one of the fastest available SDHC memory cards; the SanDisk Extreme III SDHC 30MB/sec. This type of card will absolutely not hinder the continuous data flow that has to be processed. Cards with slower specifications will have problems keeping up with the large data flow, with the risk of delay or even intervals.

USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface & Card reader
The side of the Casio EXILIM FH20 carries a USB 2.0 Hi Speed interface, which lets you quickly transfer a full memory card of 2GB to the desktop or notebook. Personally, I detest having to fiddle with cables and I prefer the optional card reader. Then it is just a matter of removing the card from the camera and transferring your files through the card reader. The advantage is the fact you can use the camera whilst transferring and it saves battery capacity. What's more convenient is that you don't have to go looking for that one cable you need.

Casio EX-FH20 uses AA-batteries
The Casio EXILIM EX-FH20 uses four AA format batteries for energy. This is very convenient since this type of battery is available worldwide at an affordable price. If you use standard alkaline batteries for the Casio FH20, the energy capacity is at its lowest. For this type, you can count on approximately 200 pictures according to CIPA measurements taken in standardized circumstances. In practice, we were able to take around 175 pictures. If you use rechargeable NiMH batteries, you will get twice as many pictures.
