Panasonic DMC-TZ3 - ISO values
The powerful and effective onboard image stabilisation system of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 guarantees the photographer better image quality. Chances of blur occurring, caused by a slow shutter speed and jitter of the hand are reduced greatly. It also ensures comfy picture taking and using the optical zoom fully, whether needed or not, even in situations when light circumstances are not ideal. Besides that the Panasonic TZ3 offers high ISO mode but just as is the case with its predecessor and the majority of the competitors, I am not satisfied by the quality of this high ISO. The image quality decreases, and it decreases too much to be contented. Panasonic has improved it slightly for example maintaining the detail in high ISO images, but it is not enough for me to be happy about it. |
Panasonic TZ3 - Venus Engine III image processor
Just like its predecessor the Panasonic Lumix TZ3 has been equipped with the Venus Engine III image processor. This kind of processor is required in order to speed up the image processing and also allows for fast carry-out of various handlings and camera actions. The overall response time of the Panasonic TZ3 is fast, especially considering it being a Megazoom camera. The only action that slows down the speed significantly is when you use the flash. It takes more than 4 seconds before the next image can be taken because this is the time the flash needs to recharge. The action photographer will enjoy the 3 images per second. This speed has remained the same compared with its predecessor, the TZ1. |
