|Fujifilm FinePix S7000 digital camera review : Fujifilm introduced the FinePix S7000 at the end of July 2003 and the camera received a warm welcome from the (readers) public. Its previous model, the FinePix S602, still is a popular model, although it is not found in the present assortment of Fujifilm anymore. The consumer fell for this digital camera that has the features of a digital reflex camera integrated in a compact and light design. The nice 6x optical zoom range and the various settings made the FinePix S602 a straight hit. This status made it difficult for Fujifilm to continue with this success. Six months ago Fujifilm was ready to introduce the FinePix S7000. With the introduction of the 4th generation CCD sensors in January 2003 we already presumed this new innovation would appear in the next models. The Fujifilm FinePix S7000 is featuring such a 4th generation super CCD, type HR with 6.3 million effective pixels and the possibility to generate an image size of 12 million pixels.

All in all more than enough ingredients to want to get acquainted with this new top model amongst the Fujifilm consumer cameras. The Fujifilm FinePix S7000 is available at the retail channels since October/November 2003.

The nice looking design, specifications that create high expectations and an effective resolution of 6.3 Megapixels give the Fujifilm S7000 a high quality status. Resolution is not everything; quality of the used lens, the image editing software inside the camera and the combination of the (photographic) talent of the user will decide the final result of the image.
