|Nikon Coolpix 5400 digital camera review : The Nikon Coolpix 5400 was first introduced to the public in May of this year (2003). The camera has the same appearance as his predecessor, the in September 2001 launched Coolpix 5000. The compact size of the Coolpix 4500 with the firm grip is noticeable. The handgrip enables a good balance when holding the camera and the compact size offers convenience and no instability.
Nikon Coolpix 5400 - Features
The camera features a wide-angle lens, still exists rarely, and offers more tele comparing to his successor. The optical zoom range is 28-116 mm. The Nikon Coolpix features a very useful Vari-angle high resolution LCD monitor to enable a creative and free way of taking photographs. The camera has a smaller CCD than his successor. The size of the CCD is 1/1.8-inch while the Coolpix 5000 still had a 2/3-inch CCD. The highest resolution of the images provides 5 effective Megapixels.
