DeLLAmercian airlines upgrades with Dell TVs : American Airlines Center, home of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and NHL's Dallas Stars, has selected Dell technology, manufacturer of innovative business and consumer technology and services, to upgrade all public areas of the facility with new DELL TVs, including suites, restaurants, clubs, concession stands and concourses, to help enhance the guest experience. Now celebrating its fifth anniversary, American Airlines Center will install approximately 500 new Dell TVs, including 185 Dell W4201C 42-inch high-definition plasma TVs in its 144 luxury suites and common areas as well as 23 Dell W5001C 50-inch high-definition plasma TVs throughout its upscale platinum level.

American Airlines Center will install 276 Dell W3201C 32-inch high-definition LCD and Dell W2306C 23-inch LCD TVs to display digital entertainment and digital signage in the concourse. All Dell TVs feature some of the latest technology to deliver high-quality sound, vivid color, terrific depth and a picture bright enough to be comfortably viewed in almost any lighting. "Dell TVs provide outstanding connectivity, ease of use and features that matter to us and our guests," said Lori Glasser-Seinera, vice president of strategic alliance and sales for American Airlines Center.

American Airlines Center also relies on more than two dozen Dell PowerEdge 2450 servers and more than 300 OptiPlex GX520 and GX620 desktops to help support its operations, including food and beverage sales, lighting, sound systems and ticketing. Guests in the luxury suites can also use Dell desktops to access the Internet. "It is our goal to help businesses such as American Airlines Center propel operations into the future with some of the broadest, most innovative product lines on the market."
