 Photo publishing Website from Four Islands : Launched on June 2, 2006, Four Islands Entertainment's FotoGrab was created to encourage photographers of all ages and skill levels to use their camera phones and digital cameras to participate in free, online foto scavenger hunts for a chance to win great prizes including gift cards, iPods and more. Registration is free and takes less than two minutes. Members participate in foto hunts created by the company or they can create their own foto scavenger hunts for people they know, or even the entire online community, to participate in. Company-created foto hunts are centered around a theme and have recently included titles such as "Auction Block," "Book Smarts" and "Around Your Town."

For example, in the "Auction Block" hunt, members were asked to plug in fotos of the funniest items up for auction they could find. Here's how it works: Once they are registered, members can upload fotos into company-created foto hunts for a chance to win great prizes. The ability to see other completed entries keeps members coming back to see the fotos others have uploaded. They can also share stories about the pictures they have uploaded and other fun facts about their experiences. Many members are also taking advantage of FotoGrab's built-in capability to allow them to create their own foto scavenger hunts for their friends, family and co-workers to participate in. Since only invited parties can access these private foto hunts they allow for safe interactions between groups of teenagers, families, social groups and others.

A recent enhancement allows members the opportunity to create foto hunts that are accessible to anyone in the online community. Individuals and businesses who wish to promote their products, services, websites and blogs can utilize foto hunts on FotoGrab as an awareness builder - and it's free as well.
