 Nikonians podcast Sports Photography Workshop : Nikonians announces the debut of a new talk radio program which recently joined its podcast lineup. The Sports Photography Workshop podcast produced by Nikonian Jason Odell during the recent Sports Photography Workshop in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. Jason interviewed Rich Clarkson, the internationally recognized sports photographer with credentials spanning from Sports Illustrated to National Geographic while covering sports events that have become a part of sports world history. The interview includes Clarkson's version of having been in the right place, at the right time, for a sports story that eventually became the topic of a critically acclaimed motion picture "Glory Road."

Clarkson is a past-president of the National Press Photographers Asso-ciation and is the founder of Rich Clarkson and Associates, LLC which conducts hands-on workshops in sports, nature and documentary photography for both professional and advanced amateur photographers. Jason produced the interview while attending one of those workshops. Rich Clarkson's 50 year career as a sports photographer has resulted in some of the most memorable and recognizable images to appear as covers on Sports Illustrated and he has the enviable credentials of having held the title of photography director and senior assistant editor for the National Geographic Society.
