UbergizmoPharos Traveler GPS 525 at Ubergizmo : Our friends at Ubergizmo have reviewed the Pharos Traveler GPS 525. The Pharos GPS 525 is a full-featured GPS navigation tool wrapped up in one very small device. It’s ready to go out-of-the-box with preloaded maps of 50 major U.S. cities and highways. The sensitive GPS receiver ensures you’ll be able to get a position fix just about anywhere. The revolutionary Pharos Traveler is the first ever and smallest GPS handheld with integrated WiFi and Bluetooth technology. You can find hotspot locations while you’re out and about and download maps over high speed, look up Point of Interest (POI) locations and make free PC-to-PC phone calls all over the world using any VoIP software for Pocket PCs.
Pharos Traveler GPS 525 review at UbergizmoPharos GPS-525 navigator - WiFi
According to the guys from Ubergizmo: " The WiFi Connectivity lets user download maps on the Internet, thanks to Pharos’ Smart Map Server. Pharos also has a real-time traffic service called Smart Traffic that could be accessed via a Bluetooth phone (by using the phone as a communication device). Our Pharos Traveler GPS 525 unit came also with a pre-loaded 512MB Secure Digital flash memory card that contains the top 50 metropolitan areas of the U.S.

Pharos Traveler GPS525 review - Software
Ubergizmo continues: "The Pharos GPS 525 is a very nice and compact unit that will prove very efficient in or out of the car as it would be a great GPS device to take for a camping trip (along with a solar charger). In the car, it covers the basic very well: one-button start, easy to use, fast satellite fix and nation-wide maps. I’ve said it before: I really like the Ostia Software that I have been using for many years now. If you can get past the small screen, the Pharos 525 GPS is a great all-in-one navigation system that I have no problem recommending. You want to learn more about the Pharos GPS navigator? About Ubergizmo
Ubergizmo.com is a trendy web magazine dedicated to consumer electronics news and reviews. It was founded by Hubert and Eliane in Palo Alto at the heart of Silicon Valley (California) where they both work. Ubergizmo is an independent web site that does not rely on advertising to run (although we do display advertising). This allows us to be truly free to say what we think, even if it does not please the manufacturers (sorry guys). To make our content spicy and enjoyable for our readers, we have a secret: we blog from our kitchen :)
