SanyoSanyo Xacti E7 : Right in time before the Photokina 2006 Sanyo introduces a brand new digital compact camera: Sanyo Xacti E7. The Sanyo E7 has convincing features and show high-quality functions and user-friendliness. The 7 Megapixel resolution and the 3x optical zoom brings the smallest details of the motive on the large 2.5 inch LCD monitor. Besides the Sanyo Xacti VPC E7 records high-quality video clips in VGA resolution. Extreme fast recordings are possible with the in-house developed Touch sensor; an innovative feature packed in a compact design. Like the special portrait mode which guarantees perfect portrait photography. The Sanyo Xacti E7 will be available from September 2006 and will have an estimated street price of €279.

The Sanyo Xacti E7 is not only a camera with a stylish design and compact dimensions (91 x 55 x 21 mm) but the Sanyo E7 is for most occasions the perfect tool. There are multiple technical innovations hidden in the ultra slim (21mm) body which ensures a powerful digital solution. When a subject is captures at the LCD monitor the 3x optical zoom will bring it to life. The innovative Touch sensor activates the auto focus with just a touch of the finger and minimizes the shutter lag to only 0.05 sec.

Photo sequences can be recorded with the ultra fast sequence mode at a rate of 2.3 frames per second. The captures 7 Megapixel images and the high-quality VGA video clips with sound can be played back directly on the large 2.5 inch LCD monitor. Numerous settings will we be welcomed by the enthusiastic hobby photographer. The special portrait mode will let the Sanyo E7 camera focus automatic on the faces while skin tones stay natural and the red eye reduction ensures a natural expression. The dynamic auto focus makes it possible to capture moving subjects.

Via an USB cable the Sanyo Xacti VPC E7 is able to transport captures screen shots from a computer to the camera. To make sure photos will be archived the Sanyo E7 camera is able to edit and print the images with a date. To make sure that the photographer can capture a high number of shots the Lithium Ion battery provides approximately 260 images. The captured still images and video clips are recorded on a Secure Digital flash memory card.
