SonySony Micro Vault Tiny : Sony Europe’s Recording Media & Energy (RME) division has announced its smallest class USB drive yet, The Sony Micro Vault Tiny, part of the Sony Micro Vault family line-up. The Sony Micro Vault Tiny USB drive is compact and light, making it ideal for travelling, and offers storage capacity ranging from 256MB to 2GB. The Sony Tiny USB drive, wafer thin at only 2.4mm and weighing just 1.5g, plugs directly into a USB compatible interface and is capable of storing a variety of file formats, from word documents to photos, music files and videos. For easy identification of the different capacity devices, Sony Micro Vault Tiny USB drive comes in four vibrant colours, adding a touch of fun.

The ultra-compact Sony Micro Vault Tiny USB flash drive supports USB 2.0 compatible host interfaces and enables high transfer speeds when storing data hungry applications, documents and high quality pictures. Using Flash Memory, the Sony Micro Vault Tiny has low power consumption and is robust enough to ensure data durability and reliability. The new ultra-small Sony USB drive also comes with a colourful rubber carrying case, equipped with a clip and strap for safe transport.

Sony Micro Vault Tiny - Storage capacity and Software
Sony Micro Vault Tiny is capable of storing over 500 MP3 songs or high definition images and around five hours of MPEG4 video footage on a 2GB capacity device. In addition, the preloaded Virtual Expander software, enables the USB drive to hold up to approximately three times the native volume of data by automatically compressing and decompressing the read and write information on the device.
