Fujifilm FinePix V10 review : Digital gadgets are becoming increasingly difficult to tell apart. We take photos with mobile phones, whilst calling with a PDA. The Fujifilm FinePix V10 is the latest addition to this series of gadgets. First and foremost, it is a digital compact camera with a stylish design, equipped with the latest Fujifilm technological innovations. In addition to this, the user is presented with the option to play games. The almost square-shaped model is filled to the brim with technical gems, the basis of which is formed by Fujifilm's Real Photo Technology, which they have developed themselves. In the Fujifilm V10, this comes down to a 5.1 Megapixel Super CCD HR.

Fujifilm V10 - Continuous shooting
Among the enhanced functions that makes this camera a perfect companion are a Zoom display that lets you confirm focus and image details as you shoot; a 30-frame multi-frame playback mode for viewing groups of photos; and a game function that utilizes the large screen area. The Fujifilm camera also offers new shooting modes. In "Natural Light & with Flash" mode the FinePix V10 shoots two images continuously without and with flash for comparison on-the-spot, a convenient function when taking pictures in situations where it's difficult to determine if the flash is needed.
Fuji V10 compact camera - 3 inch LCD monitor
The Fujifilm FinePix V10 is a compact camera, a fact that is commonly known to clash with the consumer's wish to work with increasingly large monitors. The Fujifilm V10 hence features a maximized monitor. It should be said, however, that with its current 3 inch, the LCD monitor can simply not increase any further in size without having to change the actual format of the camera itself. Therefore, it could very well be that 3 inch will prove the ultimate limit, although word of the development of a 3.5 inch touch screen LCD have already reached our ears. Either way, it at least provides a pleasantly large image, allowing you to assess the sharpness accurately, which without question contributes to the camera's ease of operation.

Fujifilm V10 camera - Fast digital camera
The FinePix V10 is housed in a distinctive square body, available in a choice of gunmetal or orange finish. The eye-catching design and body colour boosts the take-it-anywhere appeal of the stylish, innovative Fujifilm FinePix V10. Apart from featuring a particularly stylish design, the Fujifilm FinePix V10 also happens to be a surprisingly fast camera. It takes less than a second and a half for the camera to start up, and the shutter release lag of 0.01 seconds (according to Fujifilm) ensures you will simply never have to miss another moment.
Fujifilm FinePix V10 review
In addition, the Fujifilm V10 allows you to experiment to your heart's content with continuous shooting, which means you can, for instance, follow your son's soccer matches. An image speed of three images per second is indeed an exceptional performance for a camera in this segment. Furthermore, the Long Period continuous shooting mode allows you to keep shooting until the xD memory card is full. Adding all of this up, it is clear to see the Fujifilm FinePix V10 is an interesting camera in many different ways. We had the opportunity to test the Fujifilm V10 during a long period of time. Our results can be read in the following Fujifilm FinePix V10 review.
