HuaweiHuawei Mate 10 Pro premium smartphone : In a week from now Huawei will launch its new Mate 10 series. It is expected the new series will include the Huawei Mate 10, the Mate 10 Lite and the Mate 10 Pro. Last week new information surfaced indicating the premium smartphones will run on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. In addition, UAProf documents also confirmed the codenames of all three devices. The Lite version is called the Alps, the Mate 10 is named Himalaya and the Mate 10 Pro carries the codename Blanc. The Pro version is the most advance smartphone and will most likely be the only one featuring a bezel less screen. We now got new information on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro.

Till now, the online media assumed the Mate 10 Pro (BLA-L29) would feature a QHD display. But new UAProf documents indicate the Pro sports a Full HD display, just like its smaller brothers. A User Agent Profile contains technical specifications right from the manufacturer, we therefore believe this information is true.

More information on the UAProf document can be found at the Dutch website Mobiel Kopen.

Nevertheless this information is somewhat strange, as the current Mate 9 Pro features a QHD (1440x2880 pixel) display. In the past the CEO of Huawei, Richard Yu, reported the mere difference between QHD and Full HD can hardly be spotted by the naked eye. Which is of course true, unless you want to use the smartphone for VR purposes.

Other specifications and release date
The display size of the Mate 10 Pro will be 6-inch. Furthermore, this Huawei smartphone will be driven by the new Kirin 970 processor with AI (Artificial Intelligence) and 6GB of RAM. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro features a 4.000 mAh battery and comes with 64GB and 128GB memory.

In a week from now we will know more, as Huawei will launch its Mate 10 series on the 16th of October in München, Germany.
