The Apple TV, also known as iTV, is rumored for a very long time. Most people thought the project had come to a dead end. It is therefore unclear whether this is an old photo, or a revolutionarily new one.

The new Apple rumor was published on the Chinese social media website Weibo and spread by the tech site I4U. A total of four photos are published, with a description like: 'Apple OLED TV spy photos' and 'about 60 inches'.

Although the images are blurred, the device's design is clearly visible. A distinctive Apple design, with a metal housing and a prominent Apple logo on the back.

It seems to be a very thin display, one of the typical aspects of an OLED screen. The Apple TV also has very thin bezels and seems to integrate two cameras at the bottom.

On the picture, the Apple OLED TV is attached to a test setup with wires. No word is mentioned about what kind of test is being performed here.

Apple is currently making the transition from Retina LCD to OLED display technology. Next month the first OLED iPhone is expected. Moreover, OLED TV prices have dropped significantly lately, making it the perfect moment for Apple to join the market.
