LenovoLenovo Mirage VR headset to be unveiled soon : Lenovo showed its first virtual reality headset at the CES 2017, the prototype device worked on the Windows Holographic platform. During the presentation in January this year, Lenovo reported its VR headset will be released this year. The name was not revealed, but thanks to a recent brand name registration we can now report that the headset is likely to be called Lenovo Mirage. The virtual reality headset market is currently dominated by the HTC Vive, the Oculus Rift and the Hololens. But the new Lenovo headset will offer a higher resolution than all of these headsets. The Lenovo Mirage VR headset comes with two OLED displays with a resolution of 1440 x 1440.

Besides being a VR headset, the Lenovo Mirage comes with two front-facing stereo cameras, enabling users to use the headset for mixed reality applications.

The price of the headset is not yet known, although Lenovo already stated to the The Verge it be closer to $300 than $400.
