QualcommZhongshan 4G kids smartwatch with learning capabilities : Qualcomm Technologies and Zhongshan Readboy Electronics announced the Readyboy W8, the latest 4G kids learning smartwatch based on the Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform. The Readboy W8 is a unique smartwatch for kids that combines family communication capabilities with fun learning experiences. In addition to voice calls and messaging, kids can easily interact with their watch by asking questions, and the watch answers back using a knowledge base of over 100,000 fundamental questions and answers. The 4G Kids Watch can also teach kids fundamental language skills in Chinese and English, narrate stories and sing songs, and the embedded 2-megapixel digital camera provides children with the ability to share pictures.

The Zhongshan Readboy W8 is one of the first kids learning smartwatches powered by the Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform. The watch supports 4G connectivity, in addition to indoor and outdoor positioning through a combination of Wi-Fi, global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and 4G location triangulation techniques, and provides access to a wide range of Readboy content.

The Readboy smartwatch from Zhongshan Electronics comes with a 1.39” AMOLED display and uses an optimized version of Android, thus delivering a 4G kid watch with extended battery life.
