SamsungSamsung Galaxy S8 in the color Anemone Purple : At the MWC Shanghai, Samsung has released a new color edition for the Galaxy S8+. Rose Pink and Coral Blue are perfect matches for the summer. There are now a total of six color variants available: pink, blue, black, gray, silver and gold. Exactly the colors mentioned before March 29, 2017, the date that the S8 was officially launched. However, one color is still missing and that is Violet. Mid-March the S8 already appeared several times in this beautiful purple color, but so far an official introduction stays out. It is a striking and unique color that we have not seen before on a Galaxy phone. We just discovered a new photo of the Galaxy S8 in purple, which we have to share with you. The purple anemone in the display shows that this is not just a color manipulated photo.

It is still unknown whether this purple edition will be available worldwide, or just in select markets. Both the Maple Gold and the Rose Pink colors are not available in Europe or the USA.

But we have good hopes as Samsung could very well decide to introduce the purple Galaxy S8 in a month or two, just before autumn and just before the IFA 2017 takes place in Germany.

If the introduction takes place at this German fair, it is likely that we will soon be able to buy the S8 in Europe and the USA, just as the new Coral Blue color is now also worldwide available.

For now it is unclear whether Samsung will launch both S8 models in Anemone Purple. In any case, it is a beautiful striking color for autumn.

Dual SIM version
In addition, the S8+ is now also available as Dual SIM in Europe, enabling users to use two sim cards at once. The Samsung Galaxy S8+ Dual SIM is available in black and gray for €899.
