NokiaNokia 9 Android smartphone : At the beginning of this year, HMD Global introduced three brand new Nokia smartphones, which are now all worldwide available. The new Nokia phones offer a very competitive price / quality ratio. The series is currently led by the Nokia 6, but for some time now rumors circulate about the arrival of another top model this year, which is reportedly called Nokia 9. The Nokia 9 has now also passed the FCC Certification Authority, providing us with a bunch of smartphone specs. Initially HMD provided three model numbers for the benchmark test, a 4GB, 6GB and 8GB memory version. The 4GB version has now been eliminated, indicating the Nokia phone will feature 6GB or 8GB RAM, depending on the country.

In line with the 2017 trend, the Nokia 9 will have smaller screen edges, you may expect a 5.3-inch display with a Quad-HD resolution (1440x2560). The device has a metal body and comes with IP68 certification, meaning it's waterproof.

The Nokia 9 is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor. The 4GB version has now been taken out of the FCC, the better 6GB and 8GB RAM remain. Probably the 6GB version will be used for most countries.

In addition, the Nokia 9 seems to feature a dual camera with two 13 megapixel sensors. The device is equipped with 64GB of internal memory.

Nokia 9 price & availability
The Nokia 9 is a Dual SIM smartphone and runs on the new Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The price and availability of the Nokia 9 has not yet been known.

As Samsung, Apple and LG will all introduce a new flagship device by August / September 2017, it is in line with expectations that the Nokia 9 appears around the same date.

The Nokia 6 got premium specs with a friendly price tag of just €250 / $300. The Nokia 9 will undoubtedly be more expensive, but will most likely be a lot cheaper than the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone 8.

On the largest price comparison website of India the Nokia 9 is listed for an expected price of Rs 44,999 (€625 / $700).
