AppleiPhone 8 IOS smartphone : As the launch date of the iPhone 8 gets closer, more and more information comes in about the new OLED iPhone. Some time ago, we published a photo of a design mold of the iPhone 8. Meanwhile, several pictures have appeared on the internet that provide an even better look at the smartphone. In any case, the iPhone 8 will come with a completely new design. For the first time Apple seems to apply an OLED display. The edges around the display will be significantly reduced, as we also see on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6. Due to this change, both smartphones feature a fingerprint scanner on the backside.

One of the concept pictures showed a round on the back of the iPhone. Thus, it was soon thought that the iPhone 8 would also get a fingerprint scanner on the backside, not everyone thought of this as a positive change.

For those, there is good news because the last iPhone 8 pictures revealed by VenyaGeskin show that this will not be the fingerprint scanner or power button, it was just to indicate where the iPhone logo is placed. The fingerprint scanner seems to be implemented in the display, as Samsung also prefers to with the Galaxy Note 8 .

If we may believe the rumors, the OLED iPhone 8 features a 5.8-inch display. Due to the narrower bezels, the screen ratio of the iPhone will not be 16:9, but 18.5:9, equal to the display ratio of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. This will be a new challenge for app developers.

iPhone 8 Dual Camera

In addition, the iPhone 8 incorporates a dual camera, the design molds already showed a vertical dual camera, the new picture confirms this position. Apple would have chosen for this vertical construction because of the smaller, longer design of the smartphone. Furthermore, the iPhone 8 seems to feature a 3D front-camera with AR support.
