AppleApple iPhone 8 design molds leaked : For several months there has been talk about the new iPhone 2017 models, which are expected by the end of the third quarter. The iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will be the replacements of the current devices, in addition, a special model is expected. For the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, Apple will release the revolutionary iPhone 8, the name is still unknown though. A photo of the design molds have leaked, showing all three models and thus giving us more info on the design of the new iPhone 8. Till now, it was assumed that this iPhone would be Apple's biggest smartphone to date, but the molds show a different story. The size of the iPhone 8 is somewhere between the iPhone 7s (4.7" screen) and the iPhone 7s Plus (5.5" screen).

It will be the first iPhone to feature an OLED display. It could be a 5-inch display, but since the new iPhone models also have smaller bezels (edges) -a trend we see in many 2017 models- the screen size will be larger than previously possible in such a small housing.

As a result, the display size can also reach 5.8 inches. Earlier iPhone 8 concept pictures showed a front with an almost completely borderless bottom.

Also the Dual Camera is clearly visible on the photo, which will be vertically placed, rather than horizontal like on the iPhone 7s Plus. The reason for this could very well be that the iPhone 8 is significantly smaller than the 7s Plus.

Such design molds are often used by case manufacturers and are therefore not used by Apple itself.

iPhone 8 specs
Earlier rumors about the iPhone 8 suggests the phone will feature a 3D front camera, an improved battery and an improved waterproof housing. In addition, all three new iPhone models will support wireless charging.

In September 2017, the new Apple phones are expected, as the iPhone 8 seems to be delayed, it is likely to be available about a month later than the other two models. As a matter of fact, the price of the iPhone 8 will also be more expensive than previous iPhone models.
