SamsungSamsung broadcast products and solutions at NAB 2017 : Samsung Electronics America is demonstrating its latest portfolio of broadcast solutions and products at the 2017 National Association of Broadcasters show. Samsung’s new line up of display technology plays an important role in delivering on set and on screen content for broadcasters and producers Direct View LED, LCD Videowall, impressive 4K UHD lineup and SSD technologies will be featured at the NAB 2017 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Already a decade ago Samsung introduced mobile TV digital broadcasting at NBA, now the company showcases it latest developments at the same show again including 4K-enabled broadcast solutions. With Samsung 4K displays, broadcasters can be confident that what they are viewing on set is delivering the same image quality in the home.

Samsung 4K UHD Edge-lit LED displays are built for broadcast and production solutions deliver high dynamic range, offering accurate color reproduction, pure black and pure white, while offering consistent and out of the box calibration.

The Samsung QM98F 98-inch Edge-Lit 4K UHD LED Smart Signage Display is the newest edition to the expansive 4K line-up. With 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD resolution, this display delivers stunning life-like image quality, creating a high-impact way to communicate 24/7 in retail spaces, hospitality, corporate boardrooms, healthcare environments.

The Samsung QM98F LED display will be featured along with the entire lineup of 4K broadcast screens including the Edge-lit 49-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch models.

The Samsung UH55F-E videowall provides unmatched color accuracy and brightness uniformity through precise calibration and panel technology. The 700-nit brightness and extremely narrow 1.7mm bezel to bezel model yields a virtually seamless, life-like viewing experience.

Additionally, the premium videowall eliminates the need for graphic cards with Daisy Chain through use of DisplayPort (DP) 1.2 or HDMI port. Designed for 24/7 operation, this videowall creates opportunities for broadcasters with best-in-class reliability - critical in the fast-paced studio environment.

The Samsung IF015H is a new 1.5mm Fine Pitch Indoor Direct-View LED module offering significant improvements in image quality; including HDR - High Dynamic Range technology, elevated grey scale, and improved calibration. This broadcast product line boasts front and rear access allowing for ease of service. Included in the line are also the 2.0mm and 2.5mm Fine Pixel Pitch options.

Samsung Direct-View LED technology provides businesses with the flexibility to seamlessly expand and align screen composition to fit the exact need in their studio space without sacrificing performance.

The advanced factory calibration included in the LED modules deliver color and brightness uniformity equivalent to LCD videowall based technology, providing broadcast professionals an option to fine-tune their color even further with the advanced color management tool, which provides a simple, user-friendly interface.

The Indoor Fine Pixel Pitch Direct-View LED Solutions also feature both FHD and UHD capable Signal Boxes (S-Box) that delivers content to the video wall, as well as houses the display’s MagicInfo professional content management software and media player functionality.
