LG G6 is equipped with High Performance User Equipment (HPUE) which delivers increased coverage, more capacity and faster mobile speeds. HPUE smartphones are designed to give customers a better overall experience with streaming videos, mobile gaming and other online apps and services. HPUE can extend Sprint’s 2.5GHz coverage by up to 30 percent to nearly match its mid-band 1.9GHz spectrum performance, including indoors where the majority of wireless traffic is generated. With an average of 204MHz of spectrum and more than 160MHz of 2.5GHz spectrum in the top 100 U.S. markets, Sprint has more spectrum than any other carrier across the nation, allowing Sprint to keep adding the capacity and speed needed to serve customers’ increasing demand for unlimited data cell phone plans.

LG G6 HPUE-enabled phone
“The arrival of the LG G6 as the first HPUE-enabled smartphone marks a major milestone for the evolution of Sprint’s network,” said John Saw, Sprint CTO. “Deploying our innovative HPUE technology across our 2.5GHz coverage area nationwide improves the performance of our spectrum and gives customers with HPUE-enabled devices like LG G6 better coverage and faster data speeds in more locations, including at home and at work. We are excited for our customers to experience the benefits of HPUE on this terrific new mobile device and many more to come.”
