SamsungPut a Samsung S8 preorder : Yesterday Samsung announced its new premium smartphones for 2017. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ sport a completely new design, with a larger display and more colorful than before. The new smartphones come with a host of new features, including the advanced Bixby assistant, an iris scan and facial recognition, Harman speakers and a renewed front camera. The Samsung S8 preorder is already available. In Europe the preorder offer is quite poor, compared to the USA. In Europe you will get the phone 8 days in advance when you place a Samsung S8 preorder. In the USA you will receive the Gear VR with Controller plus Oculus content bonus and Platinum Experience for free. A limited edition premium bundle which adds a 256GB memory card and Bluetooth headphones by AKG will also be available for $99.

The Galaxy S8 has twice the internal memory as its predecessor, the 64GB can also be expanded by a microSD memory card. Initially it was expected that the Samsung S8 smartphones would appear in many different colors, however, in most countries the smartphones will only ship in three variants; Midnight Black, Gray Orchid and Arctic Silver. In Sweden, for example, the S8 is temporarily also available in the color Coral Blue. So we may see some extra colors in the (near) future. When you put a Samsung S8 preorder in Europe before April 19, 2017 you will receive the unit on the 19th with free delivery. In the USA, you can place a S8 preorder until April 17, with free shipping on the 20th. In the US the phone will be in stores beginning April 21. On April 28 the Samsung S8 smartphones will be available in most European stores as well. The Samsung S8 price is set at €799 / $750, the S8+ costs €899 / $850. You can place a Galaxy S8 preorder on Samsung's own website, or via your telecom provider. Or you can of course wait for the Samsung Note 8, which is expected later this year.
