SamsungSamsung Galaxy S8 camera with slow motion video features : The Samsung S8 will incorporate a 12 megapixel digital camera, as we reported some time ago. Since the Galaxy S7 Series also come with 12 megapixels, we assumed that the Galaxy S8 camera would remain unchanged. But this assumption seems to be wrong, according to the latest rumors, the S8 will be provided with a super slow motion video mode. Enabling users to record any type of action and play it back in super slow motion. The current S7 can record slow motion at a speed of 240fps. The new Galaxy S8 seems to be equipped with a 1000fps video feature, providing playback that is 4x slower. To date, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is the only smartphone to record super slow motion videos.

Once you watch a super slow motion video you´ll most likely be impressed. With a 1000fps super slow motion mode you can play anything much slower than your eyes can perceive it. It would be a fine addition to the premium specs of the Samsung S8. Whether you record a dog that shakes, a glass getting filled with water, or a basketball player who dives to the net, it does not matter what kind of action you want to record, you can watch every millisecond of the action in crisp quality. As we previously reported, the front camera of the Samsung S8 will be renewed, the current 5 megapixel sensor will be replaced by a 8 megapixel camera. In addition, the S8 seems to integrate another camera. The iris scanner will most likely incorporate a 3.7 megapixel camera, for better eye detection, as the company wasn´t satisfied with the usability of the iris scanner on the Galaxy Note.
