Recording slow motion video with 5-axis image stabilization : At this year's congress in Spain, Sony surprised the industry by unveiling the world's first super slow motion phone. The new Xperia XZs hosts an impressive list of specs and features, never seen before in a mobile handset. Sony Electronics has always been a strong player in developing innovative imaging technology. In 2004 Sony took its first serious steps into the mobile business, when they teamed up with Ericsson to manufacturer the first camera phones. I was covering the CeBIT when they proudly demonstrated the first 1.3 megapixel phone to the world. Time has changed, over the past years we have seen many new developments in our precious mobile devices. Sony's latest Xperia phones are now able to shoot super slow motion video in Full HD resolution and real-life colors.
Sony Xperia XZs records super slow motion
Presenting the next level in smart phone evolution. The new Sony Xperia phone has super slow motion video recording (960fps) with enhanced stabilization, plus 'Predictive Capture' image technology that’s so smart it can take pictures before you do. Steady-Shot with 'Intelligent Active Mode' reduces shake, with image stabilization that compensates for movement in five directions. In practice, the recorded slow-motion videos will show smooth transitions between the recorded images, even if you record slow motion video while you’re moving to your subject. You can watch your recorded videos on the large 5.2-inch Full HD display. Other specs of the new Sony Xperia phone include water-resistance (IP65/IP68), integrated fingerprint sensor and a premium metal body. The Sony Xperia XZs will be available around April 2017.
