NikonNikon KeyMission 360 review : Action cameras have become increasingly popular in recent years. Nikon plays in handy with her comprehensive expertise in the field of digital photography. The Nikon KeyMission 360 can record 360 degrees videos in an incredible 4K Ultra HD resolution with a frame rate of 24 fps. The Nikon KeyMission 360 wearable camera is extremely compact (65x60x61mm) and light weighted (198g.) and is easy to place on a tripod, camera or helmet. This way the camera can record all what you see and more. The KeyMission 360 is equipped with two Nikkor ultra wide angle lenses, of which one is positioned at the front of the camera and one at the rear. These recordings are combined to form a 360 degree video.

The Nikon Keymission 360 wearable camera can be used in almost all circumstances. The camera is waterproof up to 30 meters, dustproof, shockproof up to 2m and freeze-proof up to -10 °C. This makes it a great camera for adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts such as mountain climbers or kite-surfers. But also in the city you can capture stunning videos with the Nikon 360. In addition, the camera is able to capture slow-motion, super-lapse and time-lapse videos. The maximum video length is 1 hour and 10 minutes. Besides amazing video recordings this action camera can also capture high-resolution pictures and in-camera panoramas. The camera incorporates two 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensors with 21MP, together they can create a 30 megapixel 360˚ picture (7744x3872 pixels). The lens has an aperture of f/2.0. The ISO sensitivity ranges from 100 to 1600 and the electronic shutter has a shutter speed of 1/8000 - 1 sec. In addition, the Nikon KeyMission 360 includes a self-timer.

Share 360˚ videos with the SnapBridge app
The Nikon KeyMission 360 camera comes with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. With the SnapBridge app you can view, crop and edit images and share them via social media like Facebook and YouTube. The camera has no image stabilization built-in, but the SnapBridge software enables you to use e-VR, or electronic vibration reduction, to correct vibrations in the video. In addition the Nikon actioncamera comes with the free KeyMission 360/170 Utility software to transfer images easily to a PC. The camera is powered by an EN-EL12 rechargeable Li-ion battery. Recordings are stored on a microSD card.

The Nikon KeyMission 360 is available for a recommended retail price of € 499. In addition to the bundled software, battery and USB charger, the retail package includes a lens protection cover, an underwater lens cover and a camera cover. Nikon published a series of 360˚ test videos and 360˚ test photos to evaluate the image quality of this camera yourself.
