PanasonicPanasonic Lumix DC-GH5 system camera : Yesterday, Panasonic introduced the long awaited Lumix GH5 officially at CES 2017. This professional system camera features a new 20.1-megapixel Digital Live MOS sensor, which delivers combined with the Venus Engine 10 image processor beautifully detailed photos with a magnificent color reproduction. This image sensor lacks a low-pass filter, for even sharper pictures with a high dynamic range. The Panasonic Lumix DC GH5 is the world's first DSLM camera that can shoot in 4K @ 60p. This high framefate provides extra smooth filming and was previously only available for Full HD videos.

Panasonic GH5 records 4K 60p videos
The GH5 takes wonderful still pictures, but excels in video features. The signal readout of the image sensor is up to 1.7 times faster and the image processor processes the signals up to 1.3 times faster. This makes it possible to record 4K, 60p Ultra HD videos. Video users will be impressed by the improved performance with respect to dynamic range at high ISO. Also new is the ability to create internal 10-bit video-recordings. Compared to 8-bit internal recording, the camera can store a lot more color values, which is for example ideal for sunsets, making them truly come to life.

Camera features and specifications
Another unique feature is the 6K Photo function, which enables users to extract 18 megapixel still images from a recorded 30fps video. Furthermore, the Lumix GH5 is equipped with a 5-axis Dual IS, which effectively compensates for larger movements than before. The gyro sensor makes it possible to use a 5-stop slower shutter speed, useful for wide-angle and telephoto shots, but also in the evening. In addition, the Panasonic GH5 features an ultra-fast AF system, with a focus time of just 0.05 seconds. Continuous shooting is possible at 12 fps. Furthermore, the camera has a large OLED Live View Finder with a magnification of 0,76x.
