NikonNikon DL24-500 Premium digital cameras : The new DL24-500 features a range of creative and practical features. In Pre-Capture mode, the camera begins shooting when the shutter-release button is half pressed, and continues to shoot after the button has been released. You can opt to save the entire sequence or just select your best images. When it comes to reviewing images, an auto delete function streamlines the workflow process for continuous shooting. Designed to reduce the time it takes to check through sequences of shots taken at high frame rates, this function allows you to mark shots for automatic deletion if images are blurred, faces are hidden or eyes are closed. Picture Controls, inherited from Nikon DSLRs, let you apply and adjust suites of settings keyed to your shooting intentions.

The Nikon DL24-500 digital camera knows how to raise a smile. For quick fixes while on the go, you can touch up, alter, or even reimagine the action with the range of filters and exposure settings available in Creative Mode. Use High Dynamic Range (HDR) to fill details in high-contrast scenes and portrait compositions. Add quirky miniaturisation effects to cityscapes and busy street scenes, or reproduce stunning light trails with Multiple Exposure. Advanced movie functions mean you can go deeper into your scene with slow motion, or shoot time-lapse sequences with smooth exposure transitions. You can even speed up the action and capture a fast-forward dash through a new city with the Superlapse function, which skips frames during recording. Beyond the shoot, Nikon’s free Capture NX-D software enables you to realise the full potential of your NEF (RAW) image files.

Keep your Nikon camera connected to your smartphone
It isn’t just this camera’s lens that gives you options. The Nikon DL24-500 f/2.8-5.6 Premium compact camera is Wi-Fi- and NFC-enabled, and it’s fully compatible with Nikon’s Snap Bridge. Utilising Bluetooth Smart Ready, Snap Bridge maintains a constant, low-power connection between your Nikon DL24-500 and your smartphone or tablet to give you easy control over your photographic life. Shots can be automatically synced to your smart device while you shoot, so you can share your high-quality images in an instant. Nikon Snap Bridge also lets you control key camera functions via your smartphone, and automatically updates your camera’s time and date settings. Now your images will be tagged correctly no matter how many time zones you cross.
