Panasonic2014 Panasonic 4K Ultra HD LED TVs: Panasonic, a leader in 4K Ultra HD technology announced that the Panasonic AX800 4K Ultra HD LED LCD TVs 4K are now capable of streaming Netflix ultra-high definition 4K streaming offerings. Existing AX800 owners in North America will receive a firmware update when they connect their set to the Internet enabling them to enjoy 4K Netflix movies and shows such as “House of Cards,” “Breaking Bad,” and a new slate of Netflix Originals which begin in December with “Marco Polo.” In addition, Panasonic’s 65-inch class AX900 and 85-inch class AX850 4K Ultra HD LED LCD TVs, which will go on sale next month, will be compatible with Netflix streaming in 4K right out of the box.

Subscribers to the world’s largest internet streaming service pay $11.99 per month for the company’s ultra-high definition service and also get the ability to watch four streams at once. A firmware update for European AX800 models will be released next month. Panasonic 4K Ultra HD TVs deliver "Beyond Smart" features and advanced image rendering performance for supreme picture quality with 4x the resolution of Full HD TVs. (4K Ultra HD resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels).

The Panasonic AX800 4K Ultra HDTV Series features two screen sizes - the TC65AX800 65-inch class (64.5 inches diagonal), and TC-58AX800 58-inch class (57.5-inches). The Panasonic AX900 Series, debuting in November in the US, features the TC-65AX900 65-inch class screen size (64.5-inches) carrying on Panasonic’s rich heritage of design and engineering excellence with superior picture quality coupled with advanced features and functions to deliver the smartest and most intuitive home entertainment experience available.
