CasioCasio Exilim TR50 digital camera : Casio Computer, announced the release of the EX-TR50, the latest model in its EXILIM TR series of digital cameras. Featuring a completely new sensor, lens and design, this next-generation model was developed to enable users to take beautiful self-portraits with a camera that is a sheer delight to own. Since 2011, Casio has been releasing EXILIM TR series cameras that let users rotate the lens, frame, and monitor, allowing shooting from various angles previously impossible with a conventional camera. These models attracted attention for features like the original Casio Make-up Mode, which ensures optimal settings when taking self-portraits (selfies) to create beautiful photos.

Casio Exilim EX-TR50 features
The digital cameras in the series have garnered rave reviews among young women in countries worldwide, especially in Asia, for their usefulness as new beauty-enhancing tools that go far beyond what an ordinary digital camera can do. Casio has equipped the EX-TR50 with an all-new sensor and lens as well as its Make-up Plus mode. These features dramatically raise the level of detail that can be captured in order to bring out the beauty of a self-portrait. Moreover, Casio designed the EX-TR50 with the aim of offering users who take beauty tool that is itself a delight to own. Casio has equipped the EX-TR50 with a newly developed, molded glass lens and a 1/1.7-inch high-sensitivity CMOS sensor - the same size used in Casio’s top-of-the-line digital camera, the Exilim EX-100. By adopting the new lens and sensor, the camera brings out feminine beauty with remarkable clarity.

Make-up Plus mode
Furthermore, to produce more stunning self-portraits, Casio developed a Make-up Plus mode based on its popular Make-up mode. These features realize the highest level of image clarity ever achieved by a camera in the EXILIM TR series. Make-up Plus offers improved functions for enhancing skin quality and tone, and takes advantage of the camera’s high resolution to capture images so detailed that every eyelash and hair of the subject can be seen. Users can also select different settings for both skin tone and smoothness according to their personal preferences. Moreover, Casio’s Make-up Bracketing function stores three images to give the user additional variations of the skin tone setting. Casio also equipped the Exilim EX-TR50 with a high-brightness LED light, a useful option for taking photos under low-light conditions or when a backlight is used. The light also brings out the beauty of the eyes in self-portraits.

Yamagata Casio cameras
Casio newly designed the Exilim EX-TR50 while keeping the basic camera construction as previous models in the TR series, allowing users to freely rotate the lens, LCD and frame. The Casio EX-TR50 is manufactured by Yamagata Casio, a Japanese-based manufacturing subsidiary in the Casio Group. By applying precision machining techniques developed over many years, Yamagata Casio ensured that the EX-TR50 achieves the full heights of 'Japan Quality' by delivering refined details. It coated the front panel with multiple layers of variably processed transparent resin to give the camera a unique brilliance, and cut the ornaments surrounding the lens in the shape of diamonds, creating a beauty enhancement tool that stands out from anything else.
