HTCHTC One M8 Android phone now MirrorLink enabled : The Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC), an organization driving global technologies for phone-centric car connectivity solutions, announced that the HTC One (M8) Android phone is now MirrorLink-enabled. MirrorLink will arrive via a software upgrade to current HTC One (M8) users with the promise of more MirrorLink-enabled HTC devices to come in the near future. MirrorLink is the leading industry standard for car-smartphone connectivity and is designed for maximum interoperability between a wide range of smartphones and cars.

MirrorLink is also the only OS- and OEM-agnostic standard for car-smartphone connectivity and the only vendor-neutral standard where no single entity has a controlling stake.
