ArcSoftArcSoft Perfect365 Styling and makeover application : ArcSoft announced that its award-winning digital photo makeover app, Perfect365, now lets users experiment with and add new hairstyles to any picture - for free. The makeover app has already helped nearly 20 million people look their best, and its newest feature, Hair, lets them take their look to the next level with more than 100 hairstyle options. Perfect 365’s new hair feature lets people choose from 11 different styles and 10 different colors - from bobs to bangs and everything in between. The makeover app is free to download, and already lets people easily apply a natural touch-up or a complete makeover on their digital photo - with just a few taps.

Hair styling, makeup application, complexion touch-up, and face contouring are just a few of the remarkable yet easy to use features. Within seconds, users can create studio quality images to post on social media and professional networking sites, or share with family and friends. "Imagine the possibilities of new looks and styles if you didn’t have to worry about the long-term effects of a cut and color," said Caroline Tien-Spalding, director product marketing at ArcSoft. "Millions of people all over the world are already having fun touching up their photos and experimenting with new looks thanks to Perfect 365. Now that we’ve added hairstyles into the mix, I can’t wait to see how much more fun they’ll have with their digital personas."

A user simply snaps a 'selfie' or uploads a photo from their digital camera roll and ArcSoft's facial feature detection technology does the rest, automatically locating a person’s eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth and hairline. This allows people to play with their look by doing things like: instantly changing eye color or the shape of their face, removing blemishes and under-eye circles, softening skin and whitening teeth, and even fixing a bad hair day. The end result is a professionally re-touched photo in just one tap. The free app is powered by the facial detection technology ArcSoft has been developing for almost 20 years - the very same science companies like Samsung and Nikon use to offer advanced imaging in their devices.
