GetacGetac F110 rugged tablet with 11.6-inch touch-display : Getac, a premium manufacturer of rugged computers and tablets, announced it has begun shipping its new F110 tablet, the thinnest and lightest large-screen rugged tablet ever built. The company says that pre-orders of the new rugged Windows tablet is the most of any product Getac has ever introduced and production has been ramped-up to meet the high demand. The Getac F110 is a large-screen rugged tablet that packs superior performance and a large 11.6-inch display in a compact design. Measuring less than 1-inch in thickness, 12 x 8 inches in overall size and weighing just 3 pounds, the F110 is the lightest large-screen, fully rugged tablet ever built.

In addition, the Getac tablet incorporates the latest fourth generation Intel Core i5-4300U (1.9GHz) or i7-4600U (2.1GHz) processors featuring Intel Turbo Boost Technology clocking maximum speeds up to 2.9GHz and 3.3GHz. The Getac F110 windows tablet also features dual hot-swappable batteries allowing for endless power by simply swapping in a fresh battery without needing to shut down applications or the operating system. Nothing says quality like a manufacturer standing behind their product. Getac has designed the F110 from the inside out to survive drops, shocks, spills, vibration and more. We’re confident in our quality and that’s why the rugged F110 comes standard with a 3-Year bumper-to-bumper warranty.
