Both series are available as convenient dictation and transcription sets, making the transition to digital even easier and more cost effective. The Philips Pocket Memo 7000 voice recorder series features an optional classic mode which gives the user the look and feel of working with an analog device, while offering the advantages of digital technology. Dr. Thomas Brauner, CEO of Speech Processing Solutions explains: “Some people still prefer to use mini cassette-based analog dictation recorders over digital solutions, arguing they are familiar and easy to use. This is why we designed the Classic mode, allowing you to use the all-new Pocket Memo in the same way you would use an analog recorder.”

With firmware version 1.11, many new features are added to the Pocket Memo 8000 series. Battery life is increased to 27 hours and on top of that, scrolling functionality is improved, letting you get your work done faster and easier. The Philips voice recorders range includes the DPM6000, DPM6700, DPM7000, DPM7200, DPM7700 and DPM8900.
