TigerDirectThanksgiving plans for Black Friday and Cyber Monday : Technology retail giant TigerDirect announced its full plans for the Thanksgiving holiday, extending through the weekend, to include Black Friday and Cyber Monday. While the brick and mortar locations will be closed on the day of Thanksgiving, TigerDirect will begin its massive sales beginning this Wednesday. Rather than force fans to line-up in the cold, or have its respected staff work a holiday like its competitors would, TigerDirect is honoring the beloved Thanksgiving Thursday by unrolling a series of Black Friday deals on Wednesday, November 27th. From 8AM on, tech junkies can enjoy doing their holiday shopping with the luxury of never leaving the house. Black Friday deals will occur hourly, both online and in-store for the tech retailer.

TigerDirect also has plenty in store for consumers coming out over the weekend for a little Black Friday cheer. After the family is done with the festivities, TigerDirect will be opening its doors at 5AM on Black Friday with even bigger deals and markdowns. Last week, a picture leaked of TigerDirect’s mailer for its Black Friday 2013 specials, including a Microsoft Surface RT with keyboard cover for $249.99, and the Dell Venue Pro 8 tablet for $229.99. Among dozens of price cuts and discounts, there will be options for every budget: starting at the low end is an 11.6-inch Asus with 2GB of RAM, 320 GB hard drive and touchscreen functionality for $249.99, and with pricey gaming notebooks they have the Dell XPS 12, which has a 12.5-inch touchscreen that can swivel or flip on a hinge, a Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD for $999.99.

Once Wednesday morning rolls around, customers can relish the additional holiday weekend markdowns through Black Friday and all the way to Cyber Monday. “The greatest strength of our company lies within our people, and we simply believe they deserve the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving with their families,” states Terry Perrin, President of TigerDirect.
