SonySony Alpha accessories : Sony introduces new optics and camera accessories for its highly appreciated Alpha system. There are a total of 5 new full-frame E-mount lenses designed to take full advantage of the powerful imaging capabilities of the new Sony Alpha cameras (A7 and A7R). High quality mid-range zoom lenses from Sony and Carl Zeiss and two brilliant Zeiss Sonnar T* prime lenses will join the new line-up. In addition, a premium-quality G Lens telephoto zoom will become available as well. The Sony E-mount lens line-up now consists of 21 different lenses including the new full-frame optics. In addition to the new lenses, there are also two new mount adaptors that give photographers the ability to utilize full-frame A-mount optics on the new Sony cameras.

The Sony LA-EA3 adapter simply adds compatibility for existing A-mount lenses the new cameras, while the Sony LA-EA4 model adds the ultra-fast focusing and shooting capabilities of Sony’s innovative Translucent Mirror Technology. The versatile new mount adapters will be available in December for $200 and $350 USD, respectively. Sony also introduced a new premium soft leather carry case which protects both, Sony A7 and A7R body. The Sony LCS-ELCA premium case will also be available in December 2014 for about $140 USD.

There is also a new vertical grip (Sony VG-C1EM) that offers greater comfort during vertical photography and can accommodate two separate Sony NP-FW50 batteries for extended battery life and shooting time. A new Sony BC-TRW external battery charger that quickly charges batteries and is great for travel, and Sony FA-CS1M off camera shoe allows the use of external flashes (Sony HVL-43M and 20M) in off-camera wired applications. The Sony Alpha camera grip will be available for retail in December for about $300 USD.
