The new Toshiba e-BRIDGE Print & Capture app supports cloud-based data storage centers, allowing users to upload information into the cloud and retrieve it either on the mobile device or by printing the content on a Toshiba printing device. The new app also allows users to create a Quick Response (QR) code from an Android smartphone or tablet. Content stored on the mobile device may then be printed on any current Toshiba MFP affixed with this QR code.

“As the mobility of today’s workforce increases and BYOD becomes more of a standard than a trend, the importance of enabling employees to scan and print from a mobile device to a multifunction product is paramount,” said Bill Melo, vice president of marketing, services and solutions at Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. “Considering this new reality, the introduction of our e-BRIDGE Print & Capture now allows an organization’s personnel to work whenever and from wherever they are.” Toshiba e-BRIDGE Print & Capture is also compatible with Private Print and other user authentication applications.
