NokiaNokia Lumia 520 review at LetsGoMobile : The Nokia Lumia 520 is the beginner level model within the Lumia phone series. The Lumia 520 runs on Windows Phone 8 operating system, features a 4-inch touch screen that you can also operate with gloves on, a 1.0 GHz Dual-core processor, a 5-megapixel digital camera and 8GB internal memory. This Windows Phone 8 smartphone is currently for sale via diverse internet companies for only €170. Does Nokia manage to manufacture a good smartphone for this price or is it smarter to pay a bit more?

Nokia Lumia review
LetsGoMobile says: "As is usual for the Windows Phone 8 smartphones, the Nokia Lumia 520 menu has the familiar ‘’Tiles’’. You can personalize the phone and organize the start screen according to your wishes. Next to the start screen with the ‘’Tiles’’, you can slide to the right for the complete list of options and apps. The disadvantage of this list is that it is a very long summary of all the phone’s options and applications. The more apps you download, the longer the list gets. However, there is a search function in order to find the desired app."

LetsGoMobile continues: "In general, Nokia smartphones have good cameras. Of course the cheaper models, such as the Nokia 520, do not have a Carl Zeiss lens, which is the case for the top models in the Lumia series, but that is not to say that it is a bad camera. The photo quality of the Nokia Lumia 520 is pretty good. There are also a number of camera functions available including touch focus, and another fun addition is ´Geotagging´. Brightness and white balance can be adjusted manually, although the best result is often achieved on automatic mode."

Review Nokia Lumia 520
LetsGoMobile concludes: "The Nokia Lumia 520 is currently the cheapest smartphone with the Windows Phone 8 operating system. Unfortunately, the application selection of the Windows Phone market is not as extensive as that of the Android or the iOS market, but the most popular apps are also available for Windows Phone smartphones. With an attractive retail price of € 170, we can conclude that this Nokia smartphone is certainly value for money and maybe even the best (Windows Phone) smartphone available for less than € 200."
