The 16.2 megapixel sensor produces together with the Expeed 2 image processor a superior image quality. The Nikon A features a Nikkor lens with a fixed focal length of 18.5mm and an aperture of f/2.8 to take extraordinary sharp pictures, with professional blurry backgrounds. In addition, the camera offers a high ISO light sensitivity (100 - 25.600) and continue shooting at a speed of 4 fps. The manual focus ring can be used to adjust the autofocus. Furthermore, the Nikon A supports the 14-bit RAW image format, more commonly called NEF by Nikon.
