Nikon’s CX-format CMOS sensor offers the ideal balance between system size, speed, and image quality. The Nikon 1 S1 boasts a resolution of 10.1-megapixels with 100 to 6400 ISO light sensitivity, to get detailed photos even in low light situations. The Nikon 1 S1 is also able to record Full HD movies at 60 and 30fps. While recording a video you do not have to stop capturing photos, the 1 S1 can capture photos in full-resolution while filming. The camera can be operated both automatically and manually. When recording a film it is also possible to adjust the shutter speed and aperture to your own liking.

The new interchangeable lens camera is directly available, the Nikon 1 S1 comes in the colors black, white, red, pink and khaki. There are two kit versions available, the Zoom Lens kit consists of the Nikon 1 S1 + 1 Nikkor VR 11-27.5mm kit lens and retails at a suggested retail price of € 520 EUR. The Double Zoom kit also includes the 1 Nikkor VR 30-110mm lens. The Nikon 1 S1 price with Double Zoom kit is set at €670.
