Nokia 105 mobile phone : At the Mobile World Congress 2013 Nokia unveiled the Nokia 105, its most affordable phone to date. The Nokia 105 is the ideal device for the first-time phone buyer, featuring a bright color screen with clear menus and essentials like an FM radio, multiple alarm clocks, speaking clock, a dust and splash-proof pillowed key pad and a flashlight. The Nokia 105 has a battery life up to 35-days, meaning you’ll be able to keep talking and texting for ages. The durable Nokia 105 mobile phone is also ideal for people seeking for a back-up device for emergencies or for sports.
Nokia 105 phone features
The Nokia 105 mobile phone was created to offer the essentials - phone calls and SMS - but also some desirable extras. The Nokia 105 features an FM radio, a much-prized addition for people with limited personal entertainment options. Similarly, the phone features a flashlight, useful where reliable electricity is in short supply. The Nokia 105’s sturdy one-piece keymat is dust-proof and splash-proof. The Nokia 105 also comes with pre-loaded games, and the Nokia Life service will also be available in supported countries.
Nokia 105 phone design
The Nokia 105 marks the end of an era. With colour screens available at such a low price, Nokia officially says farewell to black-and-white screens. The Nokia 105 carries the same design aesthetic found on Nokia's top-end devices, which makes the phone stand out from the crowd. The very human curves and the clean, fresh design make it very distinct from competitors’ devices in this price range, and utterly modern despite a traditional form factor. While the major focus of creating the Nokia 105 was on covering the basics and achieving such an affordable price point, the product team also decided to include a speaking clock.
Nokia 105 price & availability
The Nokia 105 is available in black and cyan for a recommended retail price of €15,-. The Nokia 105 is planned to start rolling out in Q1 2013 and is expected to be gradually expanded to China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Russia, Vietnam and other markets in Africa, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Europe.
