The Nikon Coolpix S9400 is equipped with advanced movie functions, like when you pause a video and then continue filming, the camera will create a single movie file - for smooth playback. The optical zoom with autofocus and subject tracking stay active in movie mode. The Nikon S9400 also offers impressive photo functions, including an auto HDR, Panorama and 3D mode. The Coolpix S9400 can capture 5 high speed photos at an incredible 7.5 fps. There is also a retouch menu and the camera includes 19 scene modes, to achieve the best photos in any situation.

The new Coolpix S9400 digital camera comes in four striking colors: black, silver, white and red. Included accessories of the Nikon S9400 are an EN-EL12 Lithium-Ion battery and AC adapter, ViewNX2 software, an audio/video cable, a USB cable and a wrist strap. The Nikon Coolpix S9400 starts to retail in February 2013 and carries a suggested retail price of $300 in the US. At the same time the camera will be available in Europe, the Nikon S9400 price has been set at €270 and £249 in the UK.
