2013 CES - Solar charger for Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone : Ascent Solar Technologies introduced the EnerPlex solar assisted battery case for the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone, now available for sale. The new EnerPlex Surfr for Galaxy S3 smartphone takes advantage of Ascent's ultra-light, thin and flexible solar panels and enables Samsung Galaxy S3 users to charge their smartphones with sunlight in addition to conventional charging methods to extend the usage time. The Solar charger for Galaxy S3 EnerPlex Surfr case was displayed at CES 2013 Show, along with other new Ascent Solar Technologies products. The EnerPlex Surfr cases for Galaxy S3 smartphones will also be available in the US through additional retail channels soon.
