 CES NEWS 2013 - Sony CyberShot WX60 digital camera : At the CES Show in Las Vegas Sony has announced a new digital compact camera. The Sony CyberShot DSC-WX60 is a 16.2 megapixel camera that captures every moment in detail, even in poor light conditions. Serious picture quality is made simple with the new DSC-WX60. Get close-ups, wide-angle shots and action scenes with the high quality Carl Zeiss lens with 8x optical zoom. Wondering which settings are best? Let the Sony CyberShot WX60 do all the work for you. From close-ups to twilight portraits, the CyberShot camera adjusts everything automatically so you easily get the results you want. The Sony DSC-WX60 even detects if your subject's moving, cutting motion blur in any scene.

Besides shootings everyday scenes, the Sony CyberShot DSC-W60 captures breathtaking panorama photos. Simply press the button and sweep the camera from side to side (or up and down). The Sony WX60 automatically stitches together a high-speed burst of frames to create one full panoramic image. A perfect feature to capture amazing views of landscapes or city scenes. The Sony CyberShot camera also offers an advanced flash, that boosts sensitivity, brightening photos when the lights are low. In addition to capturing brilliant still photos the Sony CyberShot WX60 can also film smooth, steady video clips in Full HD, even when you’re walking or zooming, with Optical SteadyShot Active Mode.

The Sony CyberShot DSC WX60 will be available in a range of sparkling colors, including black, silver and pink. The compact Sony camera comes with a rechargeable battery and a AC adapter, a wrist strap, an USB cable and an instruction manual. The Sony CyberShot WX60 will be available from March 2013 and carries a suggested retail price of $190 in the United States. In Europe the Sony DSC-WX60 will retail for an estimated price of €180 and in the UK for £150. Available colors and retail prices may vary per country.
